Winter is a great time for savings in NYC. While introducing NYC Hotel Week, I referred to “a series of bargain programs,” and one of the finest has returned: NYC Restaurant Week. Between January 14 and February 8, 318 restaurants will offer 3-course prix-fixe menus at reduced prices: $25 for lunch, and $38 for dinner (beverages and gratuities excluded). The special menus are available Mondays through Fridays, and some restaurants are offering Sundays as well. Reservations for Restaurant Week are open now.
Many of NYC’s most renowned restaurants are participating in this incredible deal, including “21 Club,” Blue Water Grill, Cipriani Wall Street, Delmonico’s, Haru, Le Cirque, Le Perigord, Nobu, Orso, Red Rooster, and Spice Market.
NYC Restaurant Week is the first and largest dining program of its kind. Since its creation in 1992, similar dining promotions have been established in cities around the world (London and Lisbon) and across the country, including Los Angeles, Seattle, Kansas City, Chicago and Boston. 490,000 diners took advantage of the 2012 promotion.
See the official website for a complete list of restaurants, menus, and to make reservations. One can search by cuisine, neighborhood, or meal (services vary by restaurant).
